The first plant, I think it is too wet. Wait a few more days or until the soil is dry and you can pry them apart easily before you water again. The leaves that are brownish needs to be removed at the stem or it will lead to stem rot. The second plant is also too wet, but hte brown color is water on leaves. Just becareful not to wet leaves when watering. I aggree that both pots are too big for the plants.
