-- 作者: ㄚ行 Neat orchidhouse and pretty orchids. Thanks for posting. The vanda of the 3rd photos is cute.
-- 作者: glenda2 Glad some friends here found them interesting & compliment. I like the very last picture, the lady slipper, it has a funny face, dyed half green half white punk hair, long eye bows, tiny little red eyes, a funny nose and a big, funny mouse. What a happy face everytime I look at it. Oh, I do read Chinese, I just can't type it from my computer, please don't by shy to share your thoughts here.

-- 作者: glenda2 Thanks to Alfredo. What a beautiful colorful lady. Ok, we will take her for my Paph.'s girlfriend. I do like them, but I don't have much luck with them so far in Florida because of the temputer is always like summer time, my other lady slipper hasn't bloom for me for a year, yet it hasn't die on me either. Sighs! I'm still learning how to take care of them and fight with the temputer here.
-- 作者: Alfredo Hi mate , show you another lady slipper which may be feasible for you. In Florida , Brachypetalum section of Paph. should be easy to grow & bloom. Because they always like warm condition all year round. They are small plants with cute flower and long-lasting. I think they are great. Try to find them in Florida , you'll love them , too.
下面引用由Alfredo在 2004/04/09 08:47pm 發表的內容: You can do a couple of searches in Yahoo for either Section Brachypetalum or paph species like niveum, bellatulum, godefroyae etc, locate several vendors there and try mail order. It is simply fast and secure ordering paph bare-root in US and you can go to Antec's homepage to have a look first before buying. There is lots of information there including paph growing, introduction to paph species and hybrids and many many others .... Wish you ever success in paph growing and please do not hesitate to post your questions here in case you have encountered any. Good luck !
-- 作者: avery Glenda , by the way , the paph you posted here a couple of hours ago should be a hybrid between Paph. spicerianum and Paph. primulinum . Hope it is useful for you ....
-- 作者: glenda2 Alfredo: Thank you for sharing me some Paph that I can go ahead and try here in Florida. Avery: Thanks for the great info. I'll try to search on the internet and try my luck. (by the way, I just found out you're on line, your midnight in HK??) By the way, there will be an Readland Orchid Show (in Redland, about 20 mins drive from Miami) be held in mid May, there will be numbers of vendors from different countries including Taiwan, I'll my luck there, too. Both Da-Da, Chien-bai, I'll post questions whenever I have any on this website, there are so many masters in this Botanicae Tower. This is great!!

[這篇文章最後由avery在 2004/04/10 04:15am 第 1 次編輯] Good to hear that you will start to search in the net and if you have anything that may need help, just post it up here and I think all of us are willing to offer assistance. See you !
-- 作者: glenda2 Oh, by the way, any of you know what's the name of picture 10 - 12? Please advise. Thanks.
-- 作者: avery I think you had better post those photos in the phalaenopsis forum so that those Phal experts can help ! They may not come over here to look at the threads veyr often ....
-- 作者: glenda2 Ee-do, didn't think of that before I posted all my mix orchids and it's new house. You're right, I'll do it shortly. Thanks for a tip.
