I know basically nothing about cacti and succulent plants but I enjoy studying various types of vegetation and learn how they adapt to the natural environment. I travel extensively in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana and have taken lots of habitat photos.
Welwitchia is definitely a nice plant. Sadly such exciting species will never survive this hot and sticky climate. Do you know anybody who manages to grow and propagate this species in Taiwan?
By the way, I can read Chinese without problem, just that I cannot write it without any support of Chinese softwares.
Cheers,
DJL

Dear DJL,
It's great to see the habitat of such wonderful plant. Thanks for your kindly sharing. I bet that you are a plant enthusiast, too.
